UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC SIGNAL ACQUISITON AND PROCESSING
To work on project NUACE which
concerns the blind
estimation of the underwater channel impulse
The candidate will be hired at the level of undergraduate student with
emphasis on electrical engineering, DSP programming, system and signal
analysis. His main task
will be the
development and implementation of data acquisition techniques and
work may include
participating on the gathering of real data at various places using one
or more vertical array of sensors.
The candidate should be an experienced programmer (C and Matlab) with a
background in electrical engineering (signals and systems) and
preferably some previous experience in signal processing low level real time programming
with DSP systems.
He/she should be proficient in English and
have some background in Portuguese or Spanish.

- Amount: 385 euro/month,
exempt from taxation.

- Travel: paid by the
project (if from outside Portugal).

performed under this fellowship may be used
